We are so excited to be throwing a new annual weekend event!
To our existing community and past event attendees – thank you all so much for your support of Track Town Swing and our Fall festival, Track Town Throwdown. We wouldn’t be trying to put on The Riff without your enthusiasm and support of our other projects.
Track Town Swing is a completely volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the celebration and education of Lindy Hop, Swing Dance and Music.

Nick Davis, our founder, started dancing in 1998 and discovered Lindy Hop in 2002. He started hosting “Swing Club” practices in summer of 2012, and held Track Town Swing’s first official dance a few months later. His dedication and care has nurtured TTS into the strong organization it is today.
Nika Jin wandered into a TTS drop-in lesson in winter of 2013, just a few months after their first official dance. She fell completely in love with Lindy Hop on that first day, and here she is, still dancing and loving this community, and delighted to be writing this “About” section.
Shane Allen moved to Eugene in 2018, bringing with him an unrivaled passion for Lindy Hop and swing music, as well as years of experience organizing large-scale jazz dance events. His enthusiasm was the last piece we needed before taking the plunge to put on our first full-weekend festival in 2019.
We want to shout-out a beloved PNW event Lindy Bout that is serving as a big inspiration for this style of event. We know that we are not the only Lindy Hoppers and jazz dancers in the region that have lasting memories and love for the great energy and sharing of ideas that happened there.
